The Cancer Trust was founded in 2013 on a non-profit basis. It also has qualified under IRS Sec. 501 c3 as a charitable organization.
We believe collaboration accelerates the anticancer drug discover process and vastly improves the probability of finding new therapeutics.
Consequently -- our role as catalyst -- we assemble teams of elite scientists from several different Cancer Centers who are prepared to collaborate for several years in order to access capital support in amounts unimaginable to most researchers.
If the Cancer Trust continues its success - and we already have completed our first flagship project - then it could mark a paradigm shift in the way scientists work together in their quest for a cure.
